The Multi-Faith Walk to End Family Violence calls attention to the valuable and powerful role that people of faith have in ending violence in our families. Family violence knows no boundaries – it happens in all religious, social, cultural, economic and age groups. Believing the time has come to express our multi-faith solidarity, we invite members of all faith groups and persuasions to participate. We support victims and hold accountable those who choose to use power and control to manage their relationships. By walking and talking together on September 27th, individuals, families and faith communities declare their united commitment to ending violence and abuse in families.
